i have seen him several times and met him once. His concerts are legendary and his backing band is mind blowing. If you do not have a smile on your face during and after his concert you have no life in you. He is an inspriing man.

I was in Minneapolis a few weeks ago at a guitar shop, and the guy there was showing me a BB King limited signiture series guitar, he said they only made 150 of them (i think that's the number he said) and each one was numbered. Well they recieved the guitar that day and the number on the guitar was NUMBER 1. The a few minutes after I started playing it the guy got a phone and he told me there had been a mix up and the guitar I was playing (the exact one) was supposed to go to BB King himself, so they made me stop playing and they had to pack it all up again. The guy, after he put down the phone was just jumping all around in excitement.
I saw him in February 2006 at a casino in Oklahoma. The show was great. We waited around for 3 and a half hours for autographs and a meet and greet, and he never showed. The security kept telling us to wait over there, here, and everywhere, and he never showed. But hell, the guy is 80 years old, and he can still wail like mad on the guitar of his. I didn't recognize a whole lot of the songs, but I do remember him playing, you are my sunshine, Nobody loves me but my mother, the thrill is gone, and when love comes to town. It will be a fun show, as someone already stated, if you do not leave with a smile on your face you have no life in you.
On a sad note, I could have seen him at the crossroads festival in Dallas (2 years ago), but had to miss it cause I was poor. BB swears up and down even to this day, that that was the best show he has ever played. I missed my chance to see Eric Clapton and BB king play together along with god knows who else. I felt so ashamed to have missed that show.
Also, is a guy named Joe Bonamassa opening for him? If so, Joe is Bad ass!! That will make the show even better.
