    Had to no clue Paul McCartney played the solo on Taxman.

    He played a lot of the solos on Beatles albums you would have thought would be Harrison.

    Apparently George wasn't much of a guitar player.
    At least, their long time sound engineer is pretty adamant that George didn't have a chance at matching McCartney when it came to honesty and intensity of the solo.

    It caused a good bit of conflict between the two at some points, where Harrison was literaly asked to "step down" from the solo, and McCartney was given a go at it. Harrison would take to the street to get pissed at a bar.

    Weird.

    PS - how did you "find that out". i don't see the results?
