I dont get it, large cities on the east coast, why do they play these sheds outside the city?? When bands of Pearl Jam's status play Boston, they play the Fleet Center/Garden, when they play Philly they play the Spectrum or Wachovia.

Id be much more inclinded to travel to Boston to see them at the Garden than Mansfield, same with Philly instead of Camden. This aint 1995 anymore!!!!!!!!!!!

They have....I can only guess its because its outdoors and the summer time..I might be wrong but I believe the Camden Ampitheater holds more than the Wachovia Center

I prefer the energy of arena shows, but when you consider that the sheds hold more people, offer cheaper lawn tickets, and present tailgating opportunities, I'm down.

For me, the Camden --- MSG --- Mansfield run was the best of both worlds.

    Camden S-Center - 25,000 seats
    Wachovia center - approximately 20,000
Spectrum - approximately 18,000 (and to be possibily torn down next year).

do the math - over 2 nights that's 10,000 at $75.00 a pop for a cool $750,000 in tickets alone. now granted the band doesn't see all of that but it is still a huge difference with that extra 5,000 per night.

Hm, I have seen them at the Boston Garden & Mansfield & prefer the sound in Mansfield FAR more. MSG, however, rules.

the center in camden's not bad while the one in mansfield is horrendous...i'd rather do camden in philly (if that makes sense) over mansfield in boston....camden has a sweet tailgate and the venue isn't that bad..plus its literally a stone's throw (pun intended) away from philly...while mansfield is 40 minutes south of boston and not integrated with anything else to do in boston

I loved the Boston fans/crowd, but that Comcast Center is horrible. Way too small (eg, bathrooms, beer lines) of a venue that takes forever to get in and out of.

I'm hoping that was the last of Pearl Jam and Mansfield. I liked the Garden and like Eddie said, maybe they'll have to play Fenway.

I've seen 5 shows at Camden. all were great but those Spectrum and Wachovia shows were the two best I ever saw. hey, it's not called arena rock for nothing.
