Well said. He doesn't know his ass from his elbow. Wolfmother kicks ass!
  • Finally a band that knows how to jam! By the looks of it rock is back! Wolfmother is one of my new favorite bands. I saw them at The Fillmore in Detroit...KICKASS!!!$25 to hear an up and coming band that knows what music is all about. I also listen to a new band named Black Stone Cherry! They just rock and roll in the tradition of Lynyrd Skynyrd.

im willing to bet most of you siding with wolfmother know nothing about mike patton

whatever he can think what he wants its his opinion.. here's mine:

if it were 1994 Wolfmother would be nothing more than a bar band

    08/02/07 - LOLLA!!!
  • haha! No doubt about that, good point.

yea i think they are a bit over rated - seeing them live, there wasnt much happening for me - granted it was with a lot of other bands, short set, and hell of a lot of idiots telling them to get off - but they just play, pose, play, standard jump, play, head toss - no crowd interaction, no attitude, no anything really.
    impatience is a gift ........

    I like both bands.

Got to see Faith No More opening for Guns n' Roses at Slane in 1992.
My first gig and first time ever hearing FNM. Class!!

(Away from the point but Axl dropped Soundgarden for that gig and asked the Irish band "My Little Funhouse" to go on before FNM- BOOOO, I've never seen Soundgarden.)

Saw PJam 3 times in 2006 and not once did Wolfmother open at those gigs.
    Pity!!

Wolfmother are good (IMO) and their debut album is great. Missed them when they played their own show in Dublin last year.
    Next time!!

I know that I seen Tomahawk open for Tool and it was the most horrific experience of my life. That, no matter how awesome the rest of his stuff is, makes him worse than Wolfmother.

Why if it was 94 would Wolfmother only be a bar band? They are as interesting as Bush.
  • Its kind of going off the topic.

I only wanted to know if anyone had the dvd or if it was good.

Not interested in a Wolfmother v Mike Patten debate!
