  • Saw them a month ago in Scranton, PA. The new guy, William Duvall, is absolutely amazing. Tightest harmonies you will ever hear at a rock show. The fact that he plays rhythm guitar on the songs that need it really helps, too.

yeah they've been playing together again for over a year now. haven't seen them myself. don't think I'd be able to enjoy it properly without Layne. probably make me too sad :)
"I remember one night at Muzdalifa with nothing but the sky overhead, I lay awake amid sleeping Muslim brothers and I learned that pilgrims from every land — every colour, and class, and rank; high officials and the beggar alike — all snored in the same language"
  • Wow, where have you been?!

Saw them last summer in London and they were superb, DuVall is a great singer and entertainer. I know it isn't 'the same' without Layne, but it was still an incredible show.
  • they were just here opening for velvet revolver....i heard good things.

perfect assessment of what he brings to the band. I saw AIC with and without Layne. Sorry to say it, they sound better live now than they did with him. His persona can't be replaced, and obviously his influence on the lyrics and music goes without saying, but from a performance standpoint, they're better now.

  • Way to wake up.
And I'm not living this life without you, I'm selfish and clear
And you're not leaving here without me, I don't wanna be without
My best... friend. Wake up, to see you could have it all
  • will you be sprinkled with nuts, or corn??

I saw the new AIC last fall...they were good. Jerry and Sean were great! The singer was a bit MEH for me, since I didnt think he needed to try so hard to sound like Layne...I would have preferred just Jerry singing...
