i like to listen to bright eyes in the winter a lot more than any other season. also for some reason, around november and thru the winter i start to listen to stuff that i don't really listen to any other time of year... i'm not sure if it's because that's the season when i first heard that music and i'm trying to recreate a feeling or something. but i definitely seem to "Feel" music most during the winter, just as in the summer i tend to feel it less. it just connects with me on a deeper level. if that makes any sense.
i made a thread about this last year....lemme see if I can resurrect it.
"What’s Orphans? I don’t know. Orphans is a dead end kid driving a coffin with big tires across the Ohio River wearing welding goggles and a wife beater with a lit firecracker in his ear." - Tom Waits
Some of you might think i'm crazy, but i actually like Gary Hoey's Christmas CDs; "HO HO HOEY" and "HO HO HOEY II" particularly the slower songs (O come all ye Faithful, Away in a Manger, etc....) I've been known to break these out a couple weeks before Xmas!!

and they all eat rainbows and pooh butterflies!
agree with arcade fire. but it's a great gray/bleak day album.
