I've been wanting to start this thread for awhile..

    Ha! I love that song, too! If it makes you feel any better, I remember a Michael Stipe interview from the mid-'90s in which he also professed love for "Africa." So we're not alone. :)

    Ha!!! I too love the song "Africa", it's always been in my top 20 songs of all time.

    I found myself wondering who was singing a song I heard on the radio one day, a summery number, sounded a bit like Picture House, turned out to be Mickey Harte :eek:
    All my favourite singers have stolen all of my best lines.

    Oh all right... it was a one hit wonder, but the Safety Dance by men without hats. It is a good song. :D (I know I'm gonna get laughed at, so I have already turned red of embarrassment, and now, i feel better.
