Lol. I'm pretty sure I caught that tour too. Only time I saw Ozzy. Not with sabbath though.

I thought it would be all Black Sabbath or Ozzy covers but apparently not

I kinda want to spring for the livestream but (a) there's no way I'll be able to watch the whole thing within the 48 hour window and (b) I can't pin down who’s hosting it to figure out how easy it will or won't be to watch on my tv. Would happily give them the cash but I'm being pushed to just try and bootleg it later.

I'm sure it will be available in some format to buy later

If I can get the full show on a Blu-ray for give or take $30 that's awesome but I'm skeptical of several aspects of that scenario

I would have bit if it was even a 30 day window vs 48 hours

No Soundgarden lads sadly. Would have been good to have seen them make an appearance.

The guy that owns the deli near me just told me he met his wife while tailgating at Ozzfest in New Jersey in 2002, and they walked out at their wedding to "Crazy Train". Why can't something like that happen to me lol?
May your days be long, til kingdom come.

Wise of Ozzy to make his very last words on stage be "God bless you all". Just in case...  ;)

It was a wonderful experience. So many Musicians paying tribute to Ozzy and Sabbath.
mastodon, rival sons, Tool, Alice in Chains (whole Stadium singing Man in the Box), supergroups with Billy Corgan, Stephen Tyler (+ Ron Wood), surprise guest yungblud, GNR playing 3 Ozzy/sabbath songs, Metallica, …8 Hours of Music (brillant idea the revolving Stage), enjoyed even lamb of god (Not my Kind of Music). Sadly no soundgarden and only one female Artist (Lzzy Hale).
ozzy did well, when he had Problems with his Voice, the crowd sang for him. Was great to see the original Sabbath members one last time on stage (Even if it was only for 4 Songs).
Aston Stadium was not the best venue (ran out of Food at 5pm, 45 min wait for Drinks, toilet Situation, Traffic,…), but it‘s Ozzy‘s and Sabbath‘s Home stadium.
the whole City was crowded with Metal Fans, there was an Ozzy exhibition at the Birmingham Museum, people queueing up for taking a picture at the Black sabbath bridge…
was a once in a lifetime und Music History event, was lucky to be a part of it.

so I watched the guns set. that was always a part of how axl sings. he just never used it full time.. .my suspicion is its about how hard it is to sing/scream as he once did.

couple times he slipped into the gravelly voice and that might have worked better.

however he was singing aongs that were sung and screamed over, you know?
a little cringey but I appreciate the fact they hit sabbath first with later ozzy years than the other bands who did all early shit.

the grabs off the stream where fantastically shot so am looking forward even more ro the assumed blueray....

Kind of sad to see the king of darkness if he is just being wheeled in and almost like he's put on display. Imho just do a tribute show with him maybe showing up. Unless ozzy is totally into it then go for it. Just feels sad to me.
It just makes me think how would I like to be remembered?
I mean hell. I saw ozzy's final tour in 1990 something.
    My 2 cents. Whatever

That is how I felt. I am not going to see a band when the singer cannot walk and is a chair. His voice sounded really good, but how sad to see him shaking with Parkinson's and not being able to even stand up on his own. Sharon milking another few millions off of him for one hour of performance. It was sad. But I guess that is the only way artists can make money these days. Ozzy is a legend and I guess people will pay.

Don't sell Sharon short - she still can market Blu-rays and DVDs
    of Ozzy's final performance.
