okay, does anyone else here like ska in general?

Especially the skatalites are cool cats

    I like ska-punk but dont know much about the skatalites?

    no, I don't know of a rocker-t

    It's late first wave/early second wave ska originally

    later it had evolved to a little third wave (what you refer to as ska-punk)

    class group! saw em at the electric picnic fest in sept. last year!

    you rudy" etc in glorious sunshine!

    i believe Soul Jazz Records and Trojan 2 of the best labels to start
    with, with regards ska/reggae/dub/dancehall, although i dont know
    how to differentiate betweem em all!

    the 2-tone era in the uk or their 2nd wave of ska, has some amazing
    groups and brilliant tunes! madness, the specials, the selecter, bad manners
    and the beat(grosse point blank s'track!!).

    they are an incredible group...they´ve been playing since 1960s and are one of the first bands to play ska in the world..."sky rocket" is my favourite song, along with "Fidel Castro"
