Guns 1st show at Hammerstein was strong-

Friday night was GNR's first of 4 Hammerstein gigs. It looks like it went off without a problem and Axl completely rocked the house.

Tonight is # 2

They played a lot of Appetite stuff, and played 3 of the 4 new leaked tracks from Chinese Democracy - When everyone was singing the words, apparently Axl called them a bunch of Downloading Motherfuckers, and laughed

Good news for Gun's fans................

Wow, you must be a really fun person to be around. If you hate Axl so much you might want to skip reading the threads about him, you'll be a happier person and we won't have to read your assinine comments.

I still really want to see them live. Hopefully they'll do a full complete tour soon.

that youtube video is awesome...and it is such shit quality. could not imagine how awesome it must have been to have actually been there.

i'm still buying chinese democracy the day it comes out...when and if it comes out.

it obviously sucks that the band has fallen apart and it has taken this damn long to (maybe) get the album out. 15 years is just retarded.

Yeah...and it's cost the record company something like $10 million.

The record company cut him off now I think.

Axl just said that the album will be out in the fall. I have faith in him.

I feel kinda bad for him though. Alot of people are putting words in his mouth. People seem to think that he's been hyping the album for like 15 years now when he hasn't. Its all the media. Last time he talked about Chinese Democracy was like back in 02. And even then he said something like "It will be out eventually...but I wouldn't say any time soon"

I might buy it or just listen to it at work (HMV) but I honestly liked end of days OST song and the snippet from the MTV awards way back when was pretty rad so I think it might be cool, never heard the leaked tracks and don't care that much but I do kind of want to hear it.

The guy is to blame for a lot of the shit that's happened, but there's something different going on here as well. I mean here's a guy who was on top, and dis-assembled an incredibly huge thing because he did'nt believe in the music they were able to make together anymore. Then, instead of just putting out some shit album and ca$hing in on the band's name while it was still hot, he basically went into hibernation. 2002 he tried to come back, but obviously wasn't quite ready. At least now, he looks in shape, seems happier
and the new leaks we've heard are pretty damn strong , in my opinion.

I think the album will be nothing short of fantastic -
