It's May 7th. Funny place to start a tour and I wish he'd announce all the dates as I don't wanna miss out but at the same time York is pretty far from Bristol which is where I'm gonna be coming from. Wish he was bringing Brad but just great he's coming. I saw Pigeonhead back at the Aro Space in Seattle and he played 1 Brad & 1 Satchel song, amazing. Met him after the show and said he should come to Europe and 10 years later he is. Can't wait.
    My PJ shows:
    London 28/10/96, Las Vegas 11/7/98, London 29/5/00, Nurnburg 11/6/00, Prague 14/6/00, Salzburg 18/6/00, Verona 20/6/00, Milan 22/6/00, Zurich 23/6/00, New York 8-9/7/03, Boston 11/7/03, Reading Festival 27/8/06, Shepards Bush 11/8/09, Berlin 15/8/09, Manchester 17/8/09, London 18/8/09, Dublin 22/6/10, Belfast 23/6/10, London (HRC) 25/6/10, Alpine Valley (PJ20) 3-4/9/11, Manchester 20-21/6/12, Leeds 8/7/14, Milton Keynes 11/7/14 To be continued....

He's actually overseas to perform 5 shows in Belgium with Arsenal, a group he recently collaborated with. While there, he's taking the opportunity to play some solo gigs.

The Arsenal shows are as follows:

30th April - Ancienne Belgique, Brussels BELGIUM - SOLD OUT
1st May - Muziekodroom, Hasselt BELGIUM
14th May - Handelsbeurs, Gent BELGIUM
16th May - Het Depot, Leuven BELGIUM
17th May - Petrol, Antwerpen BELGIUM

So how do you know he'll be playing in London? Got a date? Source?

Well the first 2 Brad albums are my faves, both Satche albums esp The Family are quality. Live at the Point, should give you and idea of what his solo piano show will be like. As far as his solo stuff goes, Shield Of Thorns is a good start, some quality stuff on that. Not too sure on if London record stores will stock his albums as it's been a while since I've been record shopping there but reckon they probably will have some of his stuff.

All Shawn's solo albums are being reissued/repackaged later this year. They'll hopefully get UK distribution just like The Diamond Hand. Oh....The Family by Satchel is a beautiful collection of music.

    Ta!

No probs, hope your enjoying them. I think Live at the Point is being re-released later this year. Need to get myself a copy of The Diamond Hand, but heading back to the UK in a few weeks so dilema where to get sent. Enjoy the gig, I'll be there too.
