    Presley didn't write many songs, but no one in the day did, and you really can't argue with his success. Alotta people will argue,that he didn't invent rock and roll.Well, maybe not the music, but everything else. Plus, you can't deny that he can sing his ass off, in multiple styles.

    I vote Presley and as a consolation, Costello is the better songwriter, but when 99.9% of people hear Elvis, they aint thinkin Costello.
