After being on the fence, I decided to pull the trigger for these tickets of a special Alice in Chains acoustic show at a small club in Austin. Has anyone else seeing them with the new lead singer, or is anyone else going?
Oh, if I knew where it was I would take you there...

i must say, fair play to those guys for bringing those songs out on the road again. the songs deserve to be heard, and its the best way to make sure that layne is remembered - Duvall has done great, he doesnt try to sound like Layne and yet can do the songs justice.
I'd like to see them go under a new name if they are going to do a new album though.
I hate living in Ireland! Come over here again guys, maybe after the new album!
I had my beef with it, but it sounded great.
I think they need to change the name though and am curious to hear the new music they make.
Maybe an acoustic gig would get too weird for me...not sure. Let me know how it goes.
we only got a hits like 12 song tracklist or something..
But they went back to usa and 25 song setlists and had half the show acoustic and half electric... im sure you can make your mind up from that
Will does a great job.. i met him and i also have a poster advertising the year is one - Comes With the fall and he wrote a message addressed to me

This is the correct answer. I would also say tour under a different name. Saw them on the first "reunion" tour last year and it just didn't sit right. They sounded great, but I think a lot of their tunes are way too personal to just pick up a new singer. I will end the rant here...
