Anyone else a fan? I especially love their early stuff. 'Crocodiles' & 'Heaven Up Here' are classics.

    Yup. Been a fan since I heard Nothing Lasts Forever when it came out, must have been 1997 so I was about 9 :p

    I'm a big fan of Crocodiles, Porcupine and Ocean Rain but beyond the single I mentioned before, I've never heard anything past their mid 80s stuff.

    this is a band i really want to get into in the near future. i remember the goofy name from their cover of the Doors' "People Are Strange" from the Lost Boys soundtrack. grabbed that off of iTunes and LOVED it. last time i went vinyl shopping i looked for their records but found nothing. Ocean Rain is on my Christmas list!

    'Heaven up Here' is my favourite album. It's fucking amazing. Period.

    I can't think of anyone with a better singing voice, apart from maybe Vedder.

    Pumpkins randomly ended their 08 shows with - lips like sugar. Fucking awesome. Didn't know about them till doing research.

    been meaning to pick up their stuff for so long. we listen to "songs to learn and sing" occasionally in my art class at school, and its a fucking awesome compilation
    I've faced it, a life wasted, and I'm never going back again.

    Yep. He died in a motorcycle accident in 1989.

    :( I didn't know that, very sad. A friend of mine who was a pretty useful drummer himself used to rave about him. What a waste.
