  • Thank you for these!!
It seems people are starting to forget about him with William Duvall doing a good job. No matter how good he FILLS in he is not Layne and the shows are NOT as good.

  • It could never be the same.
This new guy is no Layne.
It doesn't hurt to let the guys play some tunes though.

yep, Layne was one of a kind. I love the performance for unplugged. Especially when he screws up Sludge Factory and yells "fuck" then has to start over again

    I could just hug you all..........but I won't :)

i know, i started the thread for Layne but as soon as i saw Mike doing his thing.....

man, that guy rules! one of the all-time greatest guitarists - fact!

i don't want to wreck the new singer before i've given him a chance (i've only seen a couple of shaky videos on youtube) but there will only ever be one Layne Staley - one of the all-time greatest singers - fact!

check this out. Junkhead played live at the MTV singles release party. anyone else think its amazing that Alice managed to get a song called junkhead, with that lyrical content, on MTV?
