i bought a pair of tickets yesterday (don't even know if i can afford the travel expenses yet!), i thought it would be a cool oppurtunity to see the great man close up and hear some classics (apparently he's playing spoon man, black hole sun etc) plus my wife will be VERY happy.

25 gbp a shot, thought it was pretty cool, obviously once im there i will be so gutted i didn't get to see pearl jam there

I'm going, I've never been there before. Does anyone know what the difference is between Unresearved and Standing. I see both are still on sale at seetickets. I got standing at 8.56 Thursday morning.

Did I get the best ones?

From reviews of shows that he has recently done, he has a full band behind him and he will be playing a wide repertoire.. It's gonna rock!
  • Going to see Cornell tommorrow Fri April 6th in Las Vegas. I will write a detailed report ASAP.
Let's see those 2013 dates in the southern states.

    D'OH!!

I'd have gone if I still lived in the UK.

Hope he'll do some (non-festival) European dates.

Yep I'm going. The Astoria is an awesome venue, seen a load of bands there including PJ and AIC. I remember seeing Audioslave there at their first Uk show, and having Cornell standing about a meter away from me wailing away, twas fucking immense! Plus we're gonna get to hear Soundgarden and TOTD stuff, I can't even begin to explain how excited I am.

I'm going but this gig and the expense has forced me to cancel my PJ trip to Dusseldorf. It will be worth it tho.

Me and InsideTheWell (Naomi) will be there. Am sooo excited about this gig. It's a nice precursor to the tour I think.

So anyway, what time is the George meet up?! :D

Pre-order rail tickets via Virgin Trains right away! The earlier you do it, the cheaper it will be. There's a train that goes from Manchester Pic. straight to Euston only stopping at literally a couple of places.

  • I'll be there!!!! With my friend Ali from Birmingham. :) Yeah, it's a free-for-all, get there early and queue to be sure of places on the rail, or you can go upstairs if you're feeling fragile. It's still a pretty good view of the stage, not too far back.
