over the past year, i have learned to enjoy the music on this kids network. many times me and my daughter will watch the programs together and the music is infectious.
i like the song that goes something like this.

clocks are the timeist
trees are the shakiest

candy is the sweetiest
cows are the mooiest

everywhere i go.

I do not know who Laurie Berkner is......you are more versed in the Noggin ways. :)

Is she the writer of the material?

Noggin Music is OK, but the best place for kids to get into good music is Kids Stuff on Sirius. My 5 year old daughter loves it. They play a lot of They Might Be Giants, Dan Zanes, and they even play a bunch of songs where kids sing Beatles classics like "All You Need Is Love", "Magical Mystery Tour", and "Hey Jude". Magical Mystery Tour is currently my daughter's favorite song.

    What????

What about "The King of Swing"???
    He's played by Buddy Guy!!!!

I love Laurie, but Buddy can't be beat.

Yeah, my girls watch lots of Noggin, and besides Jack's we watch The Upside Down Show alot as well.

  • This thread is funny. :)

We watch more Playhouse Disney than Noggin, so I'm more familiar with the Doodlebops and the theme songs for the other disney shows than any of the Noggin stuff....lol.

Those songs get stuck in my head way too much. It's not right. Sometimes I'll be loading the dishwasher or something and my husband will catch me singing the Handy Manny theme song. :o

    Yeah, like, duh.....

Dan Zane rules! I love him.
The Sippy Cups were at kiddiepallooza. I missed them. They sound alot like They Might Be Giants.
When we were on vacation I made up some new lyrics to the Pooh show song.
Now's the time to drink, drink, drink.
When you've got a problem drink, drink, drink.
Drinking lots of booze like the super sleuths do
    And it's drink, drink, drink
Cause I'm broken when I'm lonesome
And I don't feel right when you're gone away
  • Nickolodeon GAS is where it's at... all the game shows originals... GUTS, Double Dare, Legends of the Hidden Temple, Finders Keepers, etc. Dayyyuumm... but usually, I'm found making the Finder's Keepers drum beat. That shit is tight.
If I could, think I would give in.

    It is great.
Produced by Ron howard and Brain Grazer-so no wonder

but they need to do some more episodes, they so the same ones over and over.
  • Anyone seen Yo Gabba Gabba yet? Sometimes I wonder how many drugs the creators of some of these shows are on, and I need to figure out how to get some of those drugs!

I love that! So does Annabelle, but it's still a little over her head. Still, she gets really excited when she sees George because she has a few George dolls. :)

    My kids love Noggin!!

I have had that "Feels like I'm falling for Fall" song stuck in my head for days!

Me and my oldest daughter, she's 19, love Yo Gabba Gabba. I saw Mark Mothersbaugh(sp) on there the other day and that was pretty neat!

The Dj guy, can't think of his name ATM, is from St Louis!

Right now just my youngest is up, she's only 2 so we have it on Sprout, she wanted to watch Barney, but now Jay Jay is on, I hate both of those shows!

I LOVE Max & Ruby and Charlie & Lola, not sure what station either are on tho.
