What an amazing band!

Lou, Jason, and Eric are the best

Anyone still listen to them?

I do......one of my favorite bands. Bakesale will always rank in my top 10 albums of all time. I own all their discs and enjoy all of them for different reasons.......from the noisy/fuzzed out glory of "Brand New Love" (off Smash Your Head On the Punk Rock) to the fragile acoustic beauty of "Spoiled" (off III....and the Kids Soundtrack). My favorite song, however, is likely "Dreams" (off Bakesale)

......I saw them live in a small'ish club in Toronto a few weeks back and they were incredible. They hadn't lost a step over the 10 years since I last saw them perform live.

......I also quite enjoy Lou's solo work + the incredibly lo-fi stuff he did as Sentridoh and the Folk Implosion albums also have their great moments - he is an incredible (and underrated/underappreciated) songwriter

    i did love bakesale.

I like a lot of the other albums too. I'm much more a Mascis fan then a Lou fan but Lou did some pretty damn cool stuff with Sebadoh

I saw them a few years back well 2/3rds of them anyway.

The essence of lofi they had a tape recorder with the drum tracks that they put on a stool and stuck a mic to it.

Oddly it did not sound shity it was a great show.

Without a doubt, Sebadoh are my all-time favorite band. I saw them a couple of times in the 90s with Bob Fay on drums, and again a couple of weeks ago with Eric.

Hopefully the reunion will go beyond just a reissue and a tour, but if that's all we get out of it, I'm still happy.

In related news, the new Dinosaur is pretty fucking good, too. :)
