10C - MSG seat locations (surprised?)
I have a 160xxx # and I was on the side stage in section 64 about 4 rows up. For about 3 hours after picking up my tix I was freaking out thinking I was behind the stage. They were pretty fantastic seats, up close to the side of the stage on Mike's side, but they were a little 'behind' the stage. 2 sections over would have been better because then I could have seen Ed's face at least. But I'm not complaining since i was in western bumblefuck on the floor in 2003.
Anyone else have similar seat locations and was surprised as to where you ended up with low numbers?

I. LOVE. YIELD.
I was in section 7, seats aisle seats directly even with the Soundboard. It was pretty cool. It was probably the farthest you would want to be on the loor before moving to the side. I may have actually preferred being the same distance back, but elevated on the side.
I can't complain however, as this was a largely attended 10C show.
I wanted to snag the setlist, but the sound guys put it away before I had a chance to ask.
But after sitting on the sides yesterday, I would prefer them all the time. They were on the same level as the stage, so no looking up or down. The band was on eye level. Plus the angle was great, since it was not directly on the side of the stage.
1 aisle over from me was Sean Avery of the NY Rangers, & one of the Olsen twins (not sure which one).

Same section-111 and same row-B, and i was very happy with those seats. Great seats is right. How good was it seeing Mike McCready from ther all night? WOW!!
Section 60 row J. Much closer than 2003 where I was like 3 sections over and much higher up.
the next nite i picked up my tix and noticed i had seats off the floor. I was bummed cuz I thought they were going ot be bad seats, so i apologized to my friend for not getting great seats, but the seats I had were awesome! i was like 15 rows from the stage and i think 4 off the floor, so it was sweet. had a great view, had all the energy the floor had and saw an amazing show!
i do have to admit i like being on the floor better, but you can certainly get some killer seats in the wings.
Couldn't agree more. I had the best seats i've ever had at a proper PJ concert: section 77 row L...i cannot begin to say how glorious they were. I've never ever been to ANY concert where my view was totally unobstructed...except for last night.
THANKS 10C...seriously.
Cannot WAIT for tonight.
