nah but if you ever get a chance to listen to the 95 boot from chicago ed mentions the grateful dead had played the same stage the night before and said they let pj use their equipment and left joints on stage for them all in joking matter off course ...

thats awesome. i love coldplay. i wonder how the ticketing is going to work. if it seems alright, then i would love to attend. although im sure there is going to be something they arent telling us. it seems kind of strange that such a big band would play a free show at the world's most famous arena. but if its legit, im all for it.

Well, consider it a date! and I'd bring you some Northwest goodies, but don't think flying with it would be a smart move... ;)

No doubt, they are really giving back here! Big time... Maybe they're trying to kick it in to Radiohead...

i saw coldplay in 2003 and didnt even remember until my friend argued with me for like an hour about if we were there or not- no alcohol or drugs involved.

based on that i can say they wont steal PJs thunder hahahaha.

Damn...that's a good deal...I'm not really a big fan, just casual fan. I have their first two albums. Would love to hear some songs off Parachutes, great album.

Thanks the OP for this info.

If it read Coldplay paying people £50 to watch them and was a bit more local to me, I'd consider it.

I just love the Coldplay haters, they can't resist a dig. Just for you a new song from their new album.

"Violet Hill" is fucking awesome. I'm really liking it. You can really hear the Eno influence.
