March 8, 2006 Marquee Theater - Tempe, AZ Attendance was probably around 1500. Small venue. Great show. I bought the live CD at the show, pretty cool that they were doing that, burning official live CDs right then and there.
This really was something of a hits tour, as they had just gotten back together, but had no new record. I only have it in m4a format for you iTunes users, but I think there's software out there that will convert to mp3, just don't ask me which.

Ian was feeling a bit surly tonight, especially in the beginning. You'll see what I mean right before The Witch. He was not happy with the energy in the crowd, although by the end of the show, I think we had all redeemed ourselves. Rise is great because he dresses down a few people that were in front of us that were pissed that some guy was rocking out down in the pit. The guy wasn't being a dick at all, but some collared shirt types were pissed that he was so energetic. Ian calls them out mid-song and especially afterwards. It was funny at the time.
