Come on, I mean who else is with me on this really, I haven't heard good rapping besides Insane Clown Posse since early Snoop Dogg! Now the radio won't stop playing Ridin Dirty!
"Feel it rising, yeah next stop falling!"

i have the complete oppposite opinion. i think this is the best rap we've got since the early and mid 90s. i thought rap sucked around the turn on the century for sure though.
ridin dirty - love it, chamillionaire has been stellar so far
50 cent - i did a complete 180 on my opinion of him, i think he has some of the best produced songs, like window shopperbombs, dropping down, please forgive our hometown0 -
fuck you I ride dirtyprintf("shiver in eternal darkness\n");0

yes...i do not even consider it music"I never make plans that far ahead"0

yes, yes, YES! mainstream rap sucks badly. no one of substance...it's all abou tbling-bling, don p, flashin money around...there is some really good rap but you won't hear it on the radio or mtv b/c it's not as commercialized. and 50 cent may be well produced (subjective) but production can never make up for lack of substancestandin above the crowd
he had a voice that was strong and loud and
i swallowed his facade cos i'm so
eager to identify with
someone above the crowd
someone who seemed to feel the same
someone prepared to lead the way0 -
Try to catch me ridin dirty.
Good song, though a little monotonous.

'ridin dirty' is horrendous
i typically hate rap...most rap i like is fusion stuff like Rage Against the Machine or the TransplantsI've faced it, a life wasted, and I'm never going back again.
Some die just to live.0 -
All of the rap that is out there right now is crap! Nothing compares to the old school West Coast Rap. Where's Chuck D or Ice-T when you need them?????All the world will be your enemy, Prince with a thousand enemies, and whenever they catch you, they will kill you. But first they must catch you, digger, listener, runner, prince with the swift warning. Be cunning and full of tricks and your people shall never be destroyed.0

And Insane Clown Posse is probably the worst band in history (including limp bizcuit).
Beastie Boys, Jurassic 5, Atmosphere... there is still incredible hip hop being produced, but like rock music, basically any of it that's worth a damn is hidden far away from the mainstream.Come on pilgrim you know he loves you..

Ridin' Dirty is one of the worst songs I've ever heard. I wouldn't even call it a song, as I don't consider it music.Pittsburgh 6/23/06

Wait, wait, wait........ back up the damn train. Did you say you haven't heard good rapping other than the Insane Clown Possey? Seriously, I can't believe I just read that. Try seeking out hip hop like The Roots, Talib Kweli, Aesop Rock, J5, Atmosphere, Sage Francis, Mos Def etc. That is hip hop with something to say other than "Yo Bitch, suck my dick and look at my Benz" those cats can spit man, look away from the mainstream for damn.I was taught a month ago to bide my time and take it slow, but then I learned just yesterday to rush and never waste a day. Now I'm convinced the whole day long that all I've learned is always wrong. Things are true that I forget, but no one taught that to me yet0

Thats Alt-Rap which I like but don't call rap because "fiddy" gives it a bad name."Feel it rising, yeah next stop falling!"

dude, like, thats just your opinion. j/k. i used to let the purpose and meaning of a song matter to me, but then i decided i like shallow silly music too. and i started liking bands like ac/dc and van halen again (oh wait, we're talking about rap). i usually don't care what it is about if it sounds good. listen to how close "window shopper" is to rock. rap really is the best it has been at least ten years, IMHO. do you really not like "miss new booty"? oh well, i used to call rap crap and thought it was all stupid and unoriginal, but hey i also called myself a republican back then. i've got much better perspective now ushered in by real life.bombs, dropping down, please forgive our hometown0 -

Alt-Rap, Horrorcore, and West-Coast is good, and well, "Fiddy" is a terrible representation of rap as a whole and for that, I will hate a lot of modern rap(however T.I. had one good song, but still that's only one, compared to the roots who have albums like The Tipping Point that are just awesome)."Feel it rising, yeah next stop falling!"

Music without substance is terrible.
But on top of that, fifty cent, and all his peers completely lack writing talent. The music itself is really, really god awful. Same with hair metal. "artists" that don't have the ability to put substance into the music almost always make terrible music all around. As a matter of fact, I can't tell which is worse.. Today's mainstream rap or hair metal.. they're uncontested as the 2 worst music eras in history.
Listen to 50 cent and something like the best Beastie Boys records or The Roots and tell me which has the talent.
Seriously,.. "Candyshop" vs something like "Right Right, Now Now" or "Sabatouge" ?
Get real.Come on pilgrim you know he loves you..
