    Most of those music reference sites (AllMusic, Rhapsody, whatever...) constantly refer to them as metal. And some of the fanboys I've heard too. Beats me why they're called metal.

    Maybe because metal is so watered down in the mainstream, so compared to stuff like linkin park some of their stuff might be considered metal but otherwise....i dunno

    this summer i've had several people tell me about ICP. first time i've even heard of them since 99'. all the people who talked to me about them are extremely dedicated fans, but i noticed that everyone of these people ......... didn't have many teeth or many white teeth, just an overall apperance of ...... ya know. and i don't think less of these people; i just thought it was a strange coincidence that they all were similar in this way. i'll still check them out when i get a chance.

    they are trashy. they make kid rock and his fans look as classy as frank sinatra.
