    What the hell is nu-metal anyways? That genre name is just as ridiculous as grunge.

    yeah nu-metal is hardly metal, it is pretty much just post-grunge alterna-rock, so I don't let it bother me when I think about the state of metal.

    Yeh, they use the word grunge often as well. In other words it's not so much a genre as a word used to insult music. People throw it around so much it means nothing.
