  • I agree that Presence might be Zep's most underrated album...Achilles, Nobody's Fault, Hots on for Nowhere, Tea for One...all great fuckin' tunes!!! Nobody's Fault But Mine and Hots on for Nowhere, especially underrated. I think most people would agree that Achilles is the best song on the album, but those other two are personal favorites of mine that don't get enough love. I also love how guitar-driven the whole album is. No keyboards in sight!!

The entire album is generally underrated, and in a way so is "Physical Grafitti", but in any case, their album that is ignored the MOST in my experience is "III"

Great song, actually that and No Quarter are my 2 favorite Zep songs

Presence as an album is not very strong. I see a lot of you love it, but I find it pretty weak overall.

7 songs, and I can't stand 3 of them, but to each their own.

I actually think Presence is ignored more than III is. to the casual Zep fan, Achilles last stand and Nobody's Fault are probably the only songs that they'd know from presence. plenty of songs from III seem to be well known. Immigrant song and Since I've Been Loving you in particular. but plenty of the acoustic songs (Gallows Pole, That's the Way) seem to get radio play as well.

also, the fact that it's called Led Zeppelin III makes the guy who owns I, II, and IV have to buy it. Presence seems to be discount rack material....but a good find for someone just getting into Zep. Binaural and Riot Act will see similar fates when kids are getting into pearl jam 20 years from now.

Achilles Last Stand is far and away Led Zeppelin's best song and far and away my favorite, JPJ's driving bass and Bonzo's amazing drums totally make that song.

I love "Tea for One"...the opening section is awesome! I just wish that it was a song unto itself. That riff is freakin' awesome! But the rest of the song is great, too.

Interesting thoughts. I wonder if kids really will be discovering PJ in 20 years from now. If so, will they say "Wow, Binaural and Riot Act are some well kept secrets!"
