My list of 5 Albums that I am embarrassed to own and like

1) Slipknot - Slipknot
2) Slipknot - Vol 3. The Subliminal Verses
3) 30 Seconds To Mars - A Beautiful Lie
4) Linkin Park - Minutes To Midnight
5) Creed - My Own Prison

    Thats about as far as it goes with my shameful records, not that i listen to them but they are there starin down at me everyday

    understandably, most people didn't take the time to listen to it because slipknot had pretty much established themselves as a joke by the time it came out.

    but i still think it was by far the best album they released. very progressive.

    like I said in the thread about the most embarrassing songs to like, I'm not embarrassed by any of the albums I own....the following get more jokes and teases from friends though

    1. Macarena Mix - probably deserved, but it was a gift and for some reason I can't throw away cds
    2. Violent Femmes - Add It Up (1981-1993) - awesome cd and band that they don't get because they don't like a lot of music from the 80s
    3. Edwin McCain - Misguided Roses - apparently I can't like good folk rock?

    that's about all I can think of right now

    Alanis Morrisette - Jagged Little Pill. I don't have it anymore. I think I threw it in the bin. I'm even more ashamed of that! I should have given it to charity. :)

    uh yeah, that was actually a really good album. don't know why you threw it away. i don't really have any albums i am embarrassed to like that i own.......but i guess if i had to pick a couple i could possibly get made fun of for liking they would be.....
