Right, I need free music!

To all the downloaders, where shalt I go?
'We're learning songs for baby Jesus' birthday. His mum and dad were Merry and Joseph. He had a bed made of clay and the three kings bought him Gold, Frankenstein and Merv as presents.'

are you looking for live or studio music?
Studio... I just want to download some of my favourite albums.
But it turns out that I need 'administrative privileges' to download music software onto my work laptop.

Try and use limewire as little as possible if not at all, full of disease and viruses.

Really? That's interesting. That explains a lot.
Forget that then, Harmless.
It's cool, I can't install anything on this computer anyway. I need to wait til I get home.

Despite the fact that they are letting people pay what they think is fair, only 38% of people have actually paid ANYTHING for it.
At least the percentage of Americans who have paid is higher than the rest of the world.

I've actually already got it, and it's great

they probably thought "In Rainbows" was a new type of burger...
since when did it become a competition?
Used to use it all the time, absolutely destroyed one of my old cpu's with worm like viruses and stuff.
For odd tracks and rarities I would reccomend Soulseek.
For full albums, go to blog sites http://www.totallyfuzzy.blogspot.com is a good one to start at, as it basically list's and links lots of other blog sites dedicated to specific themes and genres.
That REALLY is interesting, thanks. Same as yours, the old pc is dying a slow death now.
"stereogum.com" has a HUGE archive of free MP3's for download....individual songs (not albums) from some amazing bands (ie. Feist, Ween, Kevin Drew/Broken Social Scene, The New Pornographers, Bloc Party, Editors, Thurston Moore, Jens Lekman, Iron & Wine, Rogue Wave, the Fiery Furnaces, Blonde Redhead, Menomena, Low, Polyphonic Spree, Pinback, Battles, Minus The Bear, Bright Eyes, Sufjan Stevens, Julie Doiron etc etc etc)
.....you can also sign up at "eMusic.com" for their 30 day free trial and get 30 free downloads - after which you can just cancel your membership (I picked up albums from Explosions in the Sky and the National)
and they all eat rainbows and pooh butterflies!
Where did you see that? I thought radiohead refused do give out the numbers?
Go to http://www.inrainbows.com. It's all true. I entered £00.00 for my download.

It became a competition when everything America does is criticized and denigrated. I'd thought I'd point out that at least we're more willing to financially support an artist that is trying to bring about some real change as opposed to mooching the album for free like everyone else.
