so, I endend up in Tinley Park, IL for a dose of AIC, and found it to be quite quenching. Their new vocalist, and some new tunes. G.A seating at the shithole formerly known as the "world ampitheatre".
They opened for velvet revolver, and both did a fine job. Anyone else catch it?

    nope

But William does do a great job on vocals. Shame AIC support..
  • I was thinking Jerry Cantrell was out supporting his solo album before I came across the tix.

That guy brings the right sound to the fans and keeps AIC's words with us.

I cynically felt that a "wanna be the next rock star show" was being documented.

Just got back from the VR/AIC show tonight in St Paul, AIC stole the show. I was really impressed by William's voice, I saw AIC with Layne and its not the same but thats ok, they still are a great band with alot of great tunes.
  • Saw AIC in St Paul - they were good. I don't think they were better than Velvet Revolver but they were real solid. I also got a pick from Jerry Cantrell.
