What do you guys think/know?

I really, really hope so.
seeing them both nights in CT, and I don't want to see the same show over again.

it was an awesome set at camden, no doubt! i'd love to see it! but 2 nights in a row? nah. gimme that set the first night and something different the second! come on, you know one of pj's best qualities is being able to see 9854678624798296 shows in a row because they are never the same! and you can always look foward to some great obscurities.

...oh, and though the set is awesome, it is by no means perfect! lengthen it and tack on some more rare tunes! l;ounge fly is super cool to see on there though!

Scott Weiland the melody man, if he cant sing it no one can.
  • in a recent interview, Dean said they had about 30 songs rehearsed

It's not exactly the way PJ does it. There will be only a few changes. i think they are just basically going to play a different order every night instead of the same setlist every night like they used to.

I want to punch myself for knowing this reference.

At least theyre changing it up a little now. When I saw them in '02 I knew what the exact setlist would be except they tricked me with the opener (which got me too excited when I thought everything would be different than I expected).

Notice the lack of Shangra blah blah blah songs... thank god.

well, since they are playing two shows back to back, in the same state, they MUST be changing it up. why would they play the same show when they know like 75% of the crowd was at the show the night before!

Some bands (U2, R.E.M.) have done tours where they have the same set list every night, but they have a "b" set for the second night in a city.

I've discovered very few *big* artists change their sets. Pearl Jam, DMB, Grateful Dead, Phish, (does Bruce? I heard he does). The rest essentially do the same thing every night.

Bruce does change up the setlist, not as much as some bands but as his tour goes on the more surprises he pulls out.

Some artists such as Frank Zappa alternated between fixed and random setlists depending on the lineup and repertoire rehearsed. Of course, no two Zappa solos are the same, so you have that factor too.

Has anybody found a boot from the new tour, or is it an old one? Really want to see how they are sounding. Anyone seen Scott's new "hairdo"? YIKES. Thanks
