STP Kicked ASS Tonite!! Psyched for Mohegan Tomorrow!!

tonite at the chevy in wallingford, ct stp kicked some serious ass.
they played the set they've been playing but man do they sound FLAWLESS.
the kimmel performances made me a little skeptical, but scott's voice was FANTASTIC, and MUCH better then when i saw him with velvet.
how can i complain when i hear, silvergun superman, lounge fly, and sin in one show. my god. those 3 songs were insane. all the hits were super powerful. great stuff.

now i just gotta hope that tomorrow its a somewhat different set. not very likely with them .. but i can hope. if not though it's cool because the tix are free, and it'll still be a fuckin blast.

    SO a fellow 203-er there dirtyfrank?

    I'm from wallingford myself, good to hear the show was awesome. I saw STP there in '02 before they broke up.

    and i'm actually from east haven but wallingford as you know is only about 15 minutes away.

    if only thier toronto date wasn't at the horrible festival edgefest, not even headlining. can't be more than an hour set.

    I was hoping to see them, but they won't be around when I have time to see em.

    oh well, I'm sure I'll see them eventually.

    Damn, if I was at Quinnipiac right now (where I go to college) I definitely wouldve checked that out...opening with Big Empty? That's pretty interesting...not a song I'd figure them opening with.

    ok so last night at mohegan kicked just as much ass. band was totally into it, better crowd, and great show. HOWEVER, they played the same setlist!!! same order and everything! the only difference was that they didn't play sin, which was my favorite performance from night 1! oh well, it was a free show for me and i still had a blast and they were excellent. i got 3 pj shows to look foward to where every night is completely different!
