i think he's the greatest musician of all time....every time i come back to Hendrix....his music just helps. He's the most rock n roll, most punk, most bad ass, most daring, mind blowing...best musician ever. Listening to Voodoo Child seems like a religious experience...it was his time. He took the guitar and made it his own intrument and he was real and uncompromising. His music is the most healing i have ever known. I don't believe that will ever happen again.

Sadly he only scratched the surface of where he could take music and what he was capable of. This man is hands down THE greatest guitarist of all time.

amen to that! what an influence to so many artists. when he touches the strings of a guitar, its like magic. so sad he's gone, and that he died so young
