Ever tried to do a mixed tape and ended up with a whole side of pearl jam songs? I can't seem to think of anything else to put on the dam thing. I need a chilled out compilation for my car. So far i got:
Man of the hour
Daughter
Hard to Imagine
Long Road
Black
some Neil Young songs and some Pink Floyd songs.

Any more suggestions? Thanks

Why not try some Matthew Good? Here's some great rock songs.

    Apparitions
    Man of Action
    Flashdance II
    Born to Kill
    Avalanche

Those'll knock your socks off, or at least halfway down your foot.
    Which came first,
the bad idea or me befallen by it?
  • yes i have.

it's best to focus on like 3 bands for a mix i've found..

Oh my, they dropped the leash.

Morgan Freeman/Clint Eastwood 08' for President!

    "Make our day"
  • Some of Mark Lanegan's solo stuff would fit right in. Especially songs like Carry Home, House a Home, and Stay.

    Some Mazzy Star?
Smokey Robinson constantly looks like he's trying to act natural after being accused of farting.

I've made about 10 mixtapes in the last year and I don't think pearl jam is on one of them. I made a pearl jam mix once, but I don't really think that is the same as what you are talking about

Why not have different tapes with different artists on? The problem with mixing artists on tapes is that some days you feel like listening to someone but not someoen else.
