Only seen him once live, back in 06. Such a great show, so go see him if he plays near you.

    Burn to shine
    Diamonds on the inside
    Both sides of the gun

    3 really good albums imo.

    And I would recommend getting:

    Welcome to the Cruel World
    Fight For Your Mind
    and Lifeline, his newest album.

    All 3 are terrific albums!!

I don't really listen to much of his stuff but his live shows are amazing.

Another band you should try out is John Butler Trio - another amazing live act.

  • Do you like 'Rockin' Ben Harper?'

If so, go straight to R7 stuff.

Damn, that would be pretty cool.  Do you remember how much they were selling them for?

I saw them back in early May and they had autographed vinyl copies of No Mercy In This Land for $20. Would have loved to pick up an autographed or just simply the red vinyl of Get Up too but they didn't have them back then.

He was always fun to watch.

All Ben Harper is good Ben Harper. Dude doesn't have a bad song in my books and his concerts are always amazing. I'm always a proponent of starting with the earliest album and working your way to the newest. That said, working in reverse is also a good method.

Pink Balloon isn't a bad song, but it's not one I ever want to hear lol

Saw Ben w/Charlie last week... show was amazing... and then they dropped a 20 minute "When The Levee Breaks" in the encore and I was fucking blown away. Bravo!

Dont go to this tour looking for classic Ben or older popular Ben... only stuff with Charlie and covers, and it was awesome for a big fan like myself... you will not hear Steal My Kisses

Before they kicked off the tour back at the end of March, Ben & Charlie did an event at the Grammy Museum in LA, with a interview/Q&A and a 5 song mini-set. The theater there only holds 200 people so with the small confines, they had a couple of their road cases pushed up against the walls of the outer aisles on either side. Walking by one on the way out, it had what looked like a rehearsal set list taped inside it in plain sight. Couldn’t help but peek at it and was in awe when I saw “When The Levee Breaks” on it. Was so eager for their proper show to roll around in May and was absolutely blown away when they played it. Highly recommend catching them on this tour if you can, especially since they’re playing such intimate venues.

Hello fellow Ben Harper fans, I have 4 extra tickets for the Ben/Charlie show at Thalia Hall in Chicago on 7/30. It is a general admission show and I just looking to get my money back because I bought too many, so if anyone wants to buy them at face value, please contact me.

Man, I wish Ben and Charlie were coming to Florida. Ben and the IC came to Jacksonville last year, but seeing him with Charlie would be something special. The Innocent Criminals were pretty damn cool though.
