How do you quote on the new Pit?

The system that worked before (and in many other forums) of preceeding the quote with
and following it with
(which is what it does when you click the "quote" button) doesn't seem to work. But I've noticed some people have figured out how to quote another post where it indents the OP's comments above their post.

How do you do that?

It does work but for some reason they have changed the default format to HTML rather than BBcode, so for EACH post, you need to change it (it's below the message box and above the Preview Comment button, in almost invisible green on green text rolleyes.gif, you click it, it opens a choice of html and bbcode and you have to select bbcode)
  • i wonder which is higher on the list

fixing the loophole or fixing the quote function

    i vote quote function ;)

    I'll second that ;)

I'd also put higher on the list:
    fixing the emoticons
fixing the avatar (and pictures) upload
    fixing the thread preview
making the Tour and The Band and Help sections
making the Search actually ..you know.. find anything :)
plenty to do before worrying about silly things :p
