    Lost Cause is definetely a great song, as a matter of fact the entire Sea Change album is great. It's different from all Beck cds in a way..very dark, very depressing and sad lyrics. I once read that he wrote the songs during a long time relationship breakup. I'd consider this album in my favorites of the year 2002. Other outstanding tracks are "Already Dead", "End of the Day", "Lonesome Tears", "Paper Tiger", "Sunday Sun", "The Golden Age" (extraordinary track) ..well its around a great record.

    I agree...the whole cd is great. It's got a very depressing vibe, so I have to be in the right mood to listen to it. (I guess I'd be depressed too if I found out about my significant other's affair via email.....) Beck's got a wonderful voice.

    I have a b-side from this cd called Ship in a Bottle, and its as great as the other tracks, don't know if anyone of you guys more b-sides from Sea Change.
