I think Scott Weiland sings a lot like Jim Morrison (listen to Atlanta by STP) and Mark Lanegan sings a lot like Tom Waits.
“Hello, babies. Welcome to Earth. It’s hot in the summer and cold in the winter. It’s round and wet and crowded. At the outside, babies, you’ve got about a hundred years here. There’s only one rule that I know of, babies — ‘God damn it, you’ve got to be kind.’” - Kurt Vonnegut

oh scary... 40000 morbidly obese christians wearing fanny packs invading europe is probably the least scariest thing since I watched an edited version of The Care Bears movie in an extremely brightly lit cinema.
  • Ian Astbury was the new Doors singer, wasn't he? He seems an obvious candidate.
Smokey Robinson constantly looks like he's trying to act natural after being accused of farting.

This seems too obvious, but wasn't Morrison the 70's Morrison?

He's not with them anymore, but I saw them in concert, and he was a dead ringer, both in looks and sounds. He pretty much IS Jim Morrison.

well he died in 71, so I think he's mostly the 60s Morrison

Brett Scallions (formerly of Fuel) sings with them now...
    Stone Gossard...riffmeister extraordinaire!

I am a man, I am advanced.....I am the first man to borrow Stone's leather pants!
  • Val Kilmer.
If I could, think I would give in.

    aye, in his dreams.
"I remember one night at Muzdalifa with nothing but the sky overhead, I lay awake amid sleeping Muslim brothers and I learned that pilgrims from every land — every colour, and class, and rank; high officials and the beggar alike — all snored in the same language"
