The Dirty South...we don't dig the second page.
All the world will be your enemy, Prince with a thousand enemies, and whenever they catch you, they will kill you. But first they must catch you, digger, listener, runner, prince with the swift warning. Be cunning and full of tricks and your people shall never be destroyed.

I was hoping to go to this game tonight but I feel like crap so I've got to pass. The stadium will be packed and rocking tonight (always is when the nolies or canes come to town)...

Sorry you aren't feeling well. It's too bad you can't make it out to the game. But from watching it on tv (FSN-Florida) that stadium looks neither packed nor rocking. The pre-game show on the radio said UF was offering $1.00 admission tonight in hopes of drawing a crowd.

If you want a superb baseball atmosphere, you really should come up to Dick Howser Stadium for a big ACC series. Or Dudy Noble Field in Starkville, MS. Those Left Field Lounge Lizards really know how to throw-down for college baseball.

I like that the South is shouting-out on behalf of our colleges and universities. Just one more reason why Pearl Jam should tour down here: we're passionate about our affiliations.

hmmm....I noticed that the Tour section of the Ten Club website has been cleared of the past tour dates. The only tour date listed as of today is the Bonnaroo Festival. Maybe Ten Club made room for upcoming tour dates for 2008???? Just a thought...wishful thinking....cannot wait for tommorrow.

Gators win tonight 6-1. Kudos to them for getting timely hits and turning double plays in a couple of key situations. Their pitchers also did a nice job of forcing FSU to leave runners on base all night long. I'll look forward to the neutral site game on Apr 1 and the match-up in Tally on Apr 15 (LukinFan, we gotta make that one).

We stand here on the eve of tweeting from that little bird, and all I can think is that I hope the mockingbird from Tennessee is good friends with the pelican from Louisiana, the brown thrasher from Georgia, the yellow hammer from Alabama, the cardinal from NC, and so on and so on.

When birds sing, do they do so in choirs? How about a southern bird chorale tomorrow?

No problem getting tickets for Gorge (night 2); didn't try for night 1 because I thought they were going to PLAY THE FREAKING SOUTH!!! I ended up getting my night 1 tickets from ebay and they were reasonable so I can't complain about any of my personal experiences.

However, I've seen all the threads about the server fu**ing up, paying for tickets you don't get, etc., etc. Appears to have happened for the Vic show, the European tour and the recent Ed solo tour. I didn't try for any of those but I saw a LOT of bitching, especially the Ed shows. They need to figure out how to fix the problem.......

Since tomorrow marks 6 weeks since the announcement of PJ playing Bonnaroo, I believe that a contractual window has now expired.

If this is true, some bands may now be at liberty to divulge other touring plans this week without damaging Bonnaroo's initial ticket sales push. Cases in point include Metallica and the Raconteurs both announcing tour dates for the summer this week.

Also, this could explain why Ed solo shows on the April Fools tour were marketed and sold as such (a loophole to avoid upsetting Bonnaroo promoters).

I'm just guessing out loud here, but the more I think about it, the more it makes sense to me. Guess we'll know tomorrow.
