Ty, me knows the Ryman is open Monday June 9th through Thursday June 12th and Wednesday night June 11th would be a great date for a TenClub warm-up. It would not happen Thursday as to not step on Bonnaroo toes. I am sure one of you on this thread remembers my Vic Theater notice via PM, so it's my best info given what I know. Mike also suggested folks stay the "week in Tennessee".

Yep, I saw that and that was the final straw that made me think something is definetly coming for the South. But again, I'm prepared to be disappointed. Not really getting my hopes up.

I do have a feeling that JRT is right on this one and it will be 10C show before Bonnaroo and I will try to get tickets to that one.

I disagree slightly. The Vic Theatre show in Chicago was announced with only a week's notice (or less). If there is only a 10C show in Nashville, I don't think we'll get wind of it with three months to spare.

However, should there be a full tour announcement, they might very well include a Nashville stop in the itinerary.

Hmmm. I think the Vic went well and was received well and so they're planning ahead here. The Vic was put together way before the birdy spoke and they managed to keep it under wraps. The Ryman is a very different beast. News of a date would run wild through Nashville and so the BIRD MUST SPEAK.

If REM can make a tour work, why can't Pearl Jam?

Good point. I'm all in favor of a show at the Ryman. I just want the extra-special southern resident privilege of getting ultra-secret first-priority shot at those Ten Club tickets. :D I had no luck getting Vic tickets and would be disappointed to miss out on a potential show at the Ryman.

That is a fine question, but you should look at REM's dates for 2008. This comparison may not be apples-to-apples. Raleigh and Atlanta alone don't exactly equate to the southern tour that I would like to see from Pearl Jam.

If Tampa and New Orleans add some meat the bones of Bonnaroo and Nashville, then I think we're headed in the right direction. Would like to see some other Florida and Atlanta dates in the mix, too.

I don't understand why all the cryptic shit. The acidic bird would be the crow logo for ACL, but why not just come out and say what you know? I don't trust the cryptic bullshit, do you?

Wait. You said you thought it was the mid-week show at the Ryman. Now you think it's ACL?

Cryptic was funny when the Ten Club first started this routine. Now it's trite and maddening. I enjoyed the old website when it played The Gambler and A Change is Gonna Come. Those were fun puzzles. The bird bit is weak.
