I think you're mixing up names here.
Johnny Marr is the Smiths guitarist.

yes and the current Modest Mouse guitarist

John Mayer is Dave Matthews with a shitty band
    and less imaginative lyrics.

Sorry, I just found the idea of it so blasphamous, that I had to shoot it down.

I mean if it was about Mayer being one of the original mambers of Kajagoogoo,
that I could have rolled with.

and an incredible blues guitar player.

BTW Johnny Marr's work with Mouse is OUTSTANDING. He's what the band's been missing this whole time.

Johnny Marr is in Modest Mouse now?! I've been meaning to check them out and now I'll definitely have to. Marr is a fucking genius and the smiths were the best band of the 80s.

what's sad is that you know enough about kajagoogoo to make such an observation. :D:p

Yes, I know, and I think it was the perfect career move for both parties.

Thats what I was saying. PJ&T said that he was just what they were missing.
I said that he was what they were missing on the last 2 albums. The others were perfect on their own.

I agree. With TMAA they sort of changed formats... music got more complex and I think better. Actually I never thought anything was missing from any of their records until I heard Marr play with them,... he just clicks so fucking well with Modest Mouse.. I hope he stays.
