    ridiculously awesome guitar players inside. I wish I could play slide a tenth as well as Duane.
    My Girlfriend said to me..."How many guitars do you need?" and I replied...."How many pairs of shoes do you need?" She got really quiet.

    Great band. Actually, Clapton played a whole bunch of Domino era songs on this 2007 tour he just finished. I am so glad to have seen Clapton live, it was a phenominal show.

    Derek Trucks was brilliant playing the Duanne parts.

    I really love Derek and The Dominoes and have only recently been getting back into the LP I have. Some good stuff.

    That said I can't stand Layla. No dynamics. Just too much noise.

    I really, really like the unplugged version though.

  • layla and assorted love songs is a great, great album. clapton's songwriting is just phenomenal, you can literally feel his pain.
