    Jonsi's younger sister is named Sigurros and that's how they got their band name. That's translated into English as Victory Rose. This is according to wikipedia

    That makes more sense... I was just confused because there was a song on that rare disc that said, "Sigur Ros as Victory Rose"... so I just thought maybe that's what they were originally named.

    there may be more to it than I realize, so I don't know. Download the 2001 Germany concert if you want...really good quality.

    I really liked what I heard from the rare songs, only problem is... there's a download limit, so I've gotta wait a few hours before downloading another album.. I'll definitely look into that though. Fucking love this band.
