Went to a Damien Rice concert last night!

and it was so amazing! i LOVE his music even more now! he was at the Ryman Auditorium in Nashville. he's a very good performer and he was still very good without Lisa Hannigan. :( i was sad that she wasn't there, but still one of the best shows i've ever seen! :D:p

    I've seen Damo a few times & he does indeed put on a great show!
    I would highly recommend him.

    I was bummed that I missed him play in NYC last week since I was in Florida. He doesn't really play the US all that much.

  • yeah he is awesome live ... my wife is a big fan and i went to see him back to back nights in April ... i was blown away and have been a huge fan since ...

    i dont know if he does this everywhere but the acoustics were so good in the venue i saw him in he did Cannonball with no microphone and w/o his guitar plugged in ... amazing ..

  • Never been a big Damien Rice fan, but you can't wrong seeing a show at the Ryman. The 3 I have seen there this year have all been great. It's my new favorite venue.

  • I go to see Damien Rice in Manchester in October! I can't wait, although i wish Lisa Hannigan was there too :(

    I'm also curious to see how well the show translates in such a big venue.
