Hi Peeps!

Gonna make your day if you haven't already got tix or already know about this gig...

AIC are doing the London Mean Fiddler on July 4th.
No idea when tickets are on general sale, but the pre-sale is here:

1) Sign-up, 2) Check your e-mail & confirm your registration (check your spam filters everyone!), 3) Search for Alice In Chains 4) Click & it'll take you through to Ticketmaster.

I had to become a member of this site to get tickets as I had never used them before. No other site is listing the gig as yet!

    You can have up to 6, and CHECK YOUR SPAM FILTER!... My e-mail went straight into the spam, so I had to login to my mail online & fish it out.

    Don't think I have a spam filter on my aol account, but it's still not come through...not to worry, used a different email account, and I GOT TICKETS!!!!!! WOO HOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!! Thank you so much for the heads up on that one, I couldn't find tickets anywhere, and this show will sell out in seconds, the meanfiddler is absolutely tiny, even smaller than the astoria!!!

    I know mate. I was sh*tting myself thinking that I'd not get in, and then a mate called me yesterday with the link to the site, but their PC was screwy & they couldn't get tix. I used my trusty Mac & bagged 4 tix yesterday afternoon.

    I just check my mail online, and totalrock's newsletter has now let the cat out of the bag - everyone will know about this by the end of the day.

    Hell yes we are!!!

    I didn't think I was going to get to see them, since I really couldn't be bothered with Download festival, especially with the expense of Reading and many other upcoming gigs. And to see them in such a tiny venue, that is insane.....

    I know what you mean - Download is actually on my Birthday (June 10th), so I am hoping to go, but I doubt it because of the expence.

    You're going to love this gig.
    I saw Jerry Cantrell there on Degredation Trip, and he did 7 Alice tracks that night.

    I was lucky enough to see them at the Underworld on Dirt - that was one hell of a gig, I can tell ya.

    I'm so happy we'll be getting the chance to hear those tracks again in a live situation. Soooooo happy!

    Yeah Alice In Chains is one of the last bands on my list to see, I knows it's not gonna be quite the same without Layne, but like you said just getting to hear those songs live is gonna be awesome, and I think the new guy's voice is excellent. This has totally made my day!

    The whole thing is so confusing.

    I bought 6 presale AIC tickets for the Meanfidler from ticketrush through ticketmaster - even tho there was no info at all about the gig on ticketmaster.

    Then there was the venue change to the Astoria. I called ticketmaster and they don't have a clue about anything but said my presale tickets for Meanfidler should be valid?

    Is anyone else in the same situation?

    I guess we are all in this situation, as I think this is the only way to get tix at the moment... a bit odd I have to say. The money has gone out of my account though, so it all looks like it's working.

    Just a bit confused as to when they go on sale to the general public...

    It's all pretty weird. I'm sure on the ticketmaster website through ticketrush that it had general sale from 11 May. I only learnt about it last week via the board and got some on pre-sale but can't see them on general sale anywhere except on from the agencies at £100 each!

    seriously if that pantera guy is there, It will spoil the show. He has no range and cant sing the AIC songs. BUt he is good in pantera

    its a shame the setlists are so short :(

    I got a feeling Cornell will be there!

    Hmm something is certainly missing :(. I have heard quite a few shows from 06 and i have heard like from 03 and 05.

    But William Duvall is doing a great job, he has range and good voice.

    The shortlists seem to be quite small. But cant really complain, just glad they are "back"

    To sign autographs etc ...if so then they have to come out sometime.
