Just wondering what people's favourite U2 song is.Of the many many I'd have to say If God Will Send His Angels is probably the best thing they've ever done. It's incredible.

That song has one of the best verses ever....

    Jesus never let me down
You know, Jesus used to show me the score
Then they put Jesus in show business
Now its hard to get in the door.

Even though I've been a U2 fan since I was 9 (1987), I actually think my 2 favorite U2 songs are on the new album. I can't get enough of "Sometimes You Can't Make It On Your Own," and "City of Blinding Lights."

Glad to see love for "A Sort of Homecoming." I am praying it becomes a regular on their next tour

I Will Follow and New Years Day are ok,but none really as IMO they are one of the most Overrated bands ever(In a photo-finish with The White Stripes and Iron Maiden)

i love that song as well. absolutely phenomenal.

since u2 is a very close second to pj for me, it's pretty tough to pick one favorite... here's a few in the running:

    bad
    all i want is you
    so cruel
    trip through your wires
    walk on

Not sure I can even narrow it down to a favorite from each album, but I'll attempt that:

    Boy: Out of Control
    October: Rejoice
    War: Like a Song
Under A Blood Red Sky: 11 O'Clock Tick Tock
    Unforgettable Fire: Unforgettable Fire
    Joshua Tree: Exit
Rattle and Hum: All I Want is You
    Achtung Baby: Acrobat
    Zooropa: Zooropa
    Pop: Mofo
    80-90 B-Sides: Spanish Eyes/Endless Deep (tie)
    ATYCLB: Kite
    90-00 B-Sides: Electrical Storm
    HTDAAB: Crumbs From Your Table
    This weekend we rock Portland
