I don't know if any of you guys know about this band, but I just discovered them last night. Their music is like a cross between ska, punk, maybe a little bit of metal, and a hint of Led Zeppelin. And a few parts of songs even sound a little bit like Mr. Bungle. Here's their myspace: http://www.myspace.com/losdregtones

This was Cedric Bixler-Zavala's (singer of Mars Volta and At the Drive-In) first band, but he also plays drums besides just singing.

Definitely listen to "In Route Through Bermuda" and "Squat Town".

Great find, never heard of these guys...

Man, Cedric's voice is great here. It's weird he went form melodic singing to punk yelling and now back to melodic singing again.
  • Now it makes sense why he did drum in De Facto... when I saw the video on Youtube of him drumming for "Legend of the Four Tailed Scorpion"... haha, he was so out of place and just looked terrible on drums.
If I could, think I would give in.
  • This thread deserves a bump :D
