I have to say, I do not like New Order. I saw them about 4years ago, and their attitude was appalling, and really ruined the buzz of the evening.

Turns out there's one of them dj'ing for my college Rag Week next week. Woop.

As for Joy Division, I don't know them well enough to judge!

grrr. they deleted my Joy Division/New Order thread:( oh well...

I LOVE BOTH bands btw! :D

I respect the members of Joy Division to carry on as another band, b/c they felt if they continued as Joy Division, it would not be right, since Ian died. Both bands are different...Joy Division is dark and realistic and New Order is love and hopeful songs:)

  • I tried, damnit I did, but I just couldn't get into either band. The "Get Ready" album from New Order is pretty decent though, when it first came out we used to listen to it a lot in the record store I worked at.
