Madrugada is an Norwegian band coming out of Oslo. The band recorded 5 albums, and the last album (Madrugada s/t) came out this year. It will be their last album, as their guitarist Robert Buras died last summer. But Robert Buras job was done on the new album, so they decided to finish the record and to release it.
Madrugada makes a warm, melancholic, dark music with calm and wilder moments. Influences on the band are REM, The Doors, Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds, Tindersticks and Radiohead. Take a look at the youtube clips

Probably the biggest rock band in our country. Not really a big fan, but Sivert Hoyem does have a great voice. A shame about Buraas, he was really one of the most important figures in Norwegian rock music
Dublin 06
London 07
Burås will surely be missed. He was one of the greatest guitar players in Norway, that's for sure. I hope I can catch one of their concerts this summer, although it's without Robert.
Good to see that some people know them on this PJ forum, they deserve it
