Anyone knows this band??? If not, you should really try this music. But don't imagine that you can buy an album of these guys, because you have to pay alot money for it. Esspecially the 2nd album, that will cost you around the $200 if you find one on ebay.

But their music is great, it's really depressing nice music.

Here can you find more information:

I only have the song's 'out' and 'purity' I don't own an album, but these songs are quite amazing
  • Robin Propper-Sheppard, lead vocalist of God Machine is also responsible for the very different, very brilliant project: Sophia.

While God Machine only released two albums due to the death of their bass player, Sophia literally JUST released its 6th album. The Sophia collective also recorded an album under the name The May Queens in 2000.

God Machine and Sophia are night and day in their sound. Check out Sophia at http://www.geocities.com/wouterberteloot/sophia.html

EDIT: Anyone looking to get into God Machine/Sophia etc....I have a HUGE collection and I'm always willing to trade!

I didn't hear Sophia yet. But from what I heard from people about Sophia is that the first 2 albums must be brilliant. I will check them out later.

But it's a pity that Fiction Records don't re-release the albums of The God Machine. I'm sure that there are a couple of people that want to buy the albums.

Yep, it has nothing to do with the Smashing Pumpkins. But I can tell you that this music has the same level as the Smashing Pumpkins and I'm sure that there are alot of people that will like them better.

Here is the song Home, only the quality of the sound is a little bit bad:

I just saw Sophia live in Belgium yesterday and I had the pleasure of interviewing Robin to support that particular show.

I'm not into all of Sophia's music, it's a little too heavy on the mood. Thought People are like seasons and Technology won't save us, the latest album, are really good. And Robin is a very nice guy to chat with.

Is there someone in the world who has the songs 'Train' and 'What Time Is Love'?? If so then you can always PM me. :p 'Train' is a cover of The Morlochs and 'What Time Is Love' is a cover of KLF. I am searching those songs, but they are almost unfindable. :)
