The God Machine

Anyone knows this band??? If not, you should really try this music. But don't imagine that you can buy an album of these guys, because you have to pay alot money for it. Esspecially the 2nd album, that will cost you around the $200 if you find one on ebay.
But their music is great, it's really depressing nice music.

While God Machine only released two albums due to the death of their bass player, Sophia literally JUST released its 6th album. The Sophia collective also recorded an album under the name The May Queens in 2000.
God Machine and Sophia are night and day in their sound. Check out Sophia at http://www.geocities.com/wouterberteloot/sophia.html
EDIT: Anyone looking to get into God Machine/Sophia etc....I have a HUGE collection and I'm always willing to trade!

But it's a pity that Fiction Records don't re-release the albums of The God Machine. I'm sure that there are a couple of people that want to buy the albums.

Actually, the band debuted under the name God Machine in January 1991, so umm...

The Tremelo song, The Devil Song, Painless, Dream Machine, The Train Song, The Flower Song and Evol currently love all these tracks. I already knew of this band but thanks to Klumpie for 'whoring' them to me as they're brill
I just saw Sophia live in Belgium yesterday and I had the pleasure of interviewing Robin to support that particular show.
I'm not into all of Sophia's music, it's a little too heavy on the mood. Thought People are like seasons and Technology won't save us, the latest album, are really good. And Robin is a very nice guy to chat with.
