The CURE is on the road again!!!

Anyone as excited as me???
I am seeing them in Vienna next Saturday and I am really looking forward to their retrospective main set + 3 short sets = 3 hour + long show!!!
I do believe they are still amongst the very best live acts around, I was forced to sell my tickets in 2005 - fuck :-(.
I wish I could see them at least twice or more...:-(

I can't say I'm excited...BUT I will admit to playing Never Enough (mix version) about a million times back in the early nineties. I'll also admit to thinking Kiss Me, Kiss Me, Kiss Me was a pretty good album.
I never saw them but I thought I had heard their live shows suffered from the fact that the Cure was a very heavily produced band (in the studio). Not true?

mindblowing set - played for over 3 hours and featured alot of material off Disintegration (one of the greatest albums of all time IMO)......pray that you get to hear the song Disintegration if you see them - its incredible live!!!!!
.....saw them again several years later on the Curiosa Festival tour (with Mogwai and Interpol) and they blew me away again
HIGHLY recommend checking them out
and they all eat rainbows and pooh butterflies!
I saw them only once in 2002 and they were great. I wasn't that happy about the fact they played most of the Bloodflowers stuff but it was raining and half of the people were in hiding...the majority/hardcore fans remained and it was pretty moody experience from that on...A Forest, One Hundred Years, Boys Don't Cry, Inbetween Days...Jeeeeeeez
Hopefully they are gonna play many songs from Disintegration!!!

i highly recommend them to anyone who has the chance to see them!
Yes I too saw them this weekend at The Spectrum. Fantastic Fucking show!!!!!!! They played incredible and robert smith sings still as if it were the 80's.
and the crowd was great too, everyone was dancing like we were at some 80's new wave club it was great. i loved the diversty in age at the show, around me were people in their teens to people in thier 50's, it was great.
and i agree with the poster above, they played alot of songs i didnt really know, but The cure has this way about them that even if i dont know a song the music still sounds amazing, which isnt the same with other artists/ concerts i go to.
