I've broken out the DVD. Easily my favorite concert DVD ever. NO disrespect to any of the Pearl Jam discs but this is the best for me. Jolene just came on and I had to post this. I'm about 4 beers, 4 Jack and Cokes and 1/2 bottle of Merlot deep but I had to post. I'm just glad I haven't misspelled anything (that I know of). Well, it's Hotel Yorba time...gotta run...Any thoughts about this amazing DVD?
I wish I was as fortunate, as fortunate as me.

  • It's a good one, wish they'd release an official live album at this point. I know they've also talked about a b-sides album before, and I would settle for that.

I love it, and I'm not even into the older Stripes' stuff. I love love love the last 2 albums. A newer dvd and live album would be supreme.

I would love it if he took the artier stuff over to the Raconteurs.

its probably my favourite DVD of any band.... touring band maybe competes with it... depending on my mood!!

i love the grainy feel of the old film technique... its beautiful! :):)
oh scary... 40000 morbidly obese christians wearing fanny packs invading europe is probably the least scariest thing since I watched an edited version of The Care Bears movie in an extremely brightly lit cinema.

This was'nt a DVD I had thought about getting, for no other reason than I tend to buy DVD'S and only watch them once.
But I got this for Christmas and thought it was astonishing,I never thought a DVD could ever capture the actual euphoria of a White Stripes gig but this does it in spades and then some.I love the filming of it.
Sounds like you were having a blast of a night, tanked. How ya feelin now ;c

I had a bit of a headache this morning but it wasn't too bad. I'm glad to see some others here really like this brilliant DVD.

Yep, that's a mighty DVD. I'm not a Raconteurs fan - the songs are great but there's too much marzipan and fillout in the band - but the raw impact and deceptive subtlety of The White Stripes is hard to beat.

Couldn't have said it better myself.I always feel short changed with The Raconteurs.

Jack's version of Death Letter shreds my brain. It's devastating.

    good dvd.
